What I like most about this hotel is "friendliness". I met the owner (I guess)..Mr. Chiet and he was extremely very helpful and friendly. He suggested the best local stall to eat Pho and he also drove his own car and accompanied us to travel around the city although it was already mid night. We spent two nights in total but not consecutively, because at first we have to flew to Hanoi. However, after Hanoi trip we spent another one night at Thie Vu and we felt it was like our own house....The room was so clean he also offered a room for us to use its bathroom on an evening when we already checked out form our room

I guess it would be the location. It was actually a perfect location if you need to catch up a flight, however it a bit far from the down town...

This family hotel provides a comfortable accommodation with reasonable price. The father and the son speak fluent English and gave us many advice to sightseeing. The welcome drink gave us a great impact and all of us like it very much. The location is not far away from the downtown, only 5 km and 15 mins by taxi and the fare is less than 80000 dong. The airport transportation shuttle serves is a bit expensive-15 dollars for a round- trip, although the car is great because it is really close to the airport! Anyway, I will choose this hotel again when I visit HCM next time and highly recommend to anyone who will visit the city.

Thien Vu doesn't have an elevator, but does have some very friendly staff members who will carry your bags upstairs to your room for you. I was also met at the door after a few minutes being in my room by one of the friendly employees welcoming me with a complimentary beverage (pineapple juice, I believe). At $13 and pretty close to the airport, this place was a great value for me to stay at while doing an overnight visa run from another country.

The air conditioner was not blowing out any cool air, and as a result, it was difficult for me to sleep.

Hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Received fresh pineapple juice when we arrived and next morning at 6am the hotel manager took us with his car to a travel agency downtown! Very good value for money.

Hotel was about 40 min walk to City Hall or 10-15 mins by taxi. A. Bit far from centre but great value for money

I was made very welcome on arrival and received a cold drink in my room. The room was spotlessly clean as was all the hotel. I was very, very impressed and would recommend and stay there again.The hotel is situated in a very quiet street and it is very easy to travel into the centre either by inexpensive taxi or local bus. Outside of rush hour traffic it takes about 20 mins.

Staff were excellent, greeted us with fresh fruit juice on arrival after long flight from Australia. They were so helpful in organising taxi's and tours. Room was spotlessly clean and made up fresh each morning. Location is 20 min from city centre at cost e3/4 in taxi.I Would be happy to book this hotel again

Our room is really nice and clean. It looks like a 3 stars rated hotel's room. The service is excellent and the staffs are willing to help. All in all this hotel is the best I have stayed at.

We use this hotel because it was cheap and very close to Saigon airport. It was a $5 ride from airport to hotel. Hotel is very basic and hidden in a backstreet alley great because if u can not sleep with the noise there wasnt any noise whatsoever here. Hotel is very basic more like a 2 to 3 star but for the price and lovely great welcoming staff hey it's great value for money. Hotel manager took us back to airport next morning for $5 very handy 5 minutes drive. Nice fruit welcome drinks upon arrival.

Beds were a bit hard but nothing major

I cannot say enough good things. The couple who operated the hotel were extremely accommodating, courteous, generous, polite, welcoming and not too pushy. They greeted us with cocktails and rushed to get our room ready even though we arrived significantly before check-in time. They also drove us to the airport for a very reasonable price. For budget travellers, this hotel is more than fine.

Nice and clean rooms. Easy access to the airport. Very cheap. Perfect for people who just need accommodation before a flight.

The transfer for money and very expensive!

The hotel is located near the airport. It is suitable for short stays and air travel. Unfortunately the hotel and the taxi drivers they want for transportation by car to the airport $ 5, although the price is only about $ 2. The hotel is far from the center and not good for long stay and explore the city.

IWe liked the location it's near the airport as we are flying in the morning. The room is clean and comfortable. Taxi ride is cheap it cost us usd3.00 only on the way to the airport.

Hotel location is hard to find as they are deep inside. Taxi driver try to cheat from the airport , no standard price.

The owner and the staffs of the hotel are very nice. The room are clean and spacious enough for two persons. Excellent service.

It's kinda far from the tourist area (District 1) maybe 20-30mins by car.

Very helpful and polite staff. Also helped us to get to the bus (!) twice and for free, thanks a lot for this.
